At ToolsGuru, we believe that powerful, professional-grade online tools should be accessible to everyone without sacrificing privacy or requiring complex installations. Our mission is to democratize access to useful online utilities while maintaining the highest standards of data protection and user security.

Founded in 2024, ToolsGuru emerged from a simple observation: most online tool platforms either compromise user privacy, require unnecessary registrations, or lack the professional features needed for serious work. We set out to create a different kind of platform—one that puts user privacy first.

ToolsGuru.net is an independent website of browser-based utilities, owned and operated by Aleena LTD as a small publisher — not a university department, consultancy, or certified test lab. We do not list invented degrees, awards, or enterprise customers. The people who ship the tools also write the how-to copy, the guides, and the limitation notes on each tool page.

Contact is email-only: info@aleenaltd.com. There is no phone queue and no chat widget that stores your file. If a tool mis-converts a format, send the URL, the browser, and what you expected. We correct pages when we are wrong.

File converters, PDF rewrite tools, and most text utilities are written so the payload stays in the tab. The browser File API reads the document you choose; libraries such as pdf-lib, Canvas, JSZip, and Web Crypto transform bytes in memory; a Blob download returns the result. Honest exceptions: the site still loads analytics and AdSense from Google. Tools that talk to another site (the API and GraphQL testers, fetching a sitemap by URL, and the Carbon code screenshot preview) send what you typed because that is the job. Those requests are not a silent copy of a PDF you dropped on the joiner. localStorage notes live in that browser profile only. Covering text in a PDF is not cryptographic redaction. We would rather write the caveat than advertise a Faraday cage we do not operate.

Each tool page is meant to be useful without the rest of the site: what the tool does, a worked example that is unique to that tool, limitations, and when not to use it. We do not scrape competitor help centres or spin the same paragraph across 70+ tool pages. Calculators are arithmetic, not financial, medical, or legal advice. Citation formatters only wrap the metadata you type. BMI is a crude population metric.

We do not sell affiliate rankings dressed up as reviews, and we do not run doorway pages that exist only to host ads. Advertising supports the site; it is placed after the primary how-to content on tool pages and is omitted on the 404 screen. If sponsored placements ever appear, they will be labelled. They are not in this wave of pages.
